Attorneys

Emily focuses her practice on directors and officers liability and insurance, professional liability and insurance, and insurance coverage litigation.  In her practice, Emily serves as coverage and claims monitoring counsel for insurance companies providing primary and excess coverage for director and officer liability in a wide array of claims involving professional liability, employment liability, and other commercial issues.  Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a litigation associate at Carlile, Patchen & Murphy LLP in Columbus, Ohio .  In her litigation practice, Emily represented companies and individuals in the areas of business, securities, employment, commercial, intellectual property, and contract litigation.  She is also a former Assistant Attorney General in the Executive Agencies Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office.  Emily received her law degree from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University and her bachelor degree from Miami University of Ohio, where she graduated cum laude.
