Summer Associate Program

Our Summer Associate Program is an important source of associate hiring. The summer program targets students who have completed at least two years of law school. At Bailey Cavalieri, we are proud to have an environment characterized by integrity, civility, responsiveness, diversity and professional excellence. We strive toward innovation and building quality and long-standing client relationships. We seek to hire individuals who share these values.

We hire summer associates with the expectation that they will be asked to join us as associates, and almost all of our summer associates receive and accept offers. The summer program lasts 12 weeks.

The starting salary for new law school graduates joining our firm as associates is $95,000 annually. Additionally, a $6,000 stipend is paid to each new law school graduate who will be joining our firm as a new associate in order to assist with expenses following graduation and while studying for the Ohio Bar Exam. We also pay the Ohio Bar Exam application fees and BarBri review course fees for our new associates

Our goal is to give each summer associate the best experience we can while they are with us. Summer associates work on projects assigned directly by various lawyers in the office. The projects are real work assignments, identical to those that would be given to associates. Evaluations are given midway through the summer and at the conclusion of the program.
