Jessica B. Kling, Associate
Jessica focuses her practice on directors and officers liability and insurance, professional liability and insurance, and insurance coverage litigation. In her practice, Jessica serves as coverage and claims monitoring counsel for insurance companies providing primary and excess coverage for director and officer liability in a wide array of claims involving professional liability, employment liability, and other commercial issues. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica was a complex commercial litigation associate at Zeiger Tigges & Little LLP in Columbus, Ohio, defending Fortune 100 companies in disputes relating mergers and acquisitions, securities, employment, intellectual property, and contract law. Jessica earned her law degree at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as Executive Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal. During law school, Jessica also served as a judicial extern for The Honorable George C. Smith, Senior Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She earned a bachelor's degree in International Studies and French Language and History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Jessica has also studied at the University of Paris I (La Sorbonne) in Paris, France, and at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. She was named a 2009 Rising Star by the publishers of
Law & Politics and
SuperLawyers magazines.
