| Bailey Cavalieri provides the following benefit plans to
full-time staff members. Additional information on the plans can be
obtained from the Firm Administrator.
The following information is a summary of benefits for full-time
staff members:
Health Insurance Benefits | A full-time staff member is eligible
for group health insurance on the first day of employment at the
Firm. The group's health insurance coverage is through United
HealthCare. The firm's plan is a HSA which means that there is a
high deductable. The Firm funds the total deductable each year at
$2,000 for single coverage and $4,000 for family coverage. The
Firm provides same-sex domestic partner coverage.
Dental Insurance Benefits | Bailey Cavalieri offers a voluntary
dental insurance plan for staff and their families. The dental
insurance plan is through Principal.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) | The Firm offers confidential
counseling services at no cost to employees and their families
through United Healthcare and Principal.
Life Insurance Benefits | A full-time staff member receives a
life insurance benefit of $50,000. The firm also offers voluntary
supplemental life insurance as well as dependant life insurance
through the Principal.
Long-Term Disability | The Firm provides long-term disability
insurance through the Principal with a long-term disability
benefit at 60% of earnings up to $5,000 per month after 90 days
of being disabled.
Bailey Cavalieri Cafeteria Plan | Full-time staff members are
eligible to participate in the Firm's Cafeteria Plan with the
following three options:
- Pre-Tax Premium | Pre-tax deferral of income for
paying the portion of the medical insurance and dental
insurance premiums not paid by the firm.
- Qualified Medical Reimbursement Plan | Pre-tax
deferral of income (limited to $2,400 per calendar year) for
purposes of paying incurred medical expenses not covered under
the family's medical insurance. The election form describes
criteria for eligible reimbursements.
- The Dependent Care Plan | An election to reduce
your salary (limited to $5,000 per calendar year) to be applied
for reimbursement to you for care given by providers in that
same year in order for you to be eligible. The criteria for
reimbursement are governed by the Internal Revenue Code and
eligible reimbursements are not subject to federal, state and
Social Security regulations.
Transportation Spending Accounts | Pre-tax benefit for parking or
public transportation and reimbursed through payroll.
401(k) Plan | The 401 (k) plans include Self Directed Accounts
and Roth 401(k) Accounts which have matching features up to 4%.
Plans are administered by Charles Schwab Retirement Plan
Services. Rollovers of funds from qualified plans are accepted.
- Profit-Sharing | The Firm makes annual
contributions at its discretion, which will be allocated among
all eligible employees, without employee contributions.
Paid Time Off | The policy provides fifteen days of paid time per
year that can be used for illness, vacation, and personal time
with the first year pro-rated. After five years of service
the policy provides twenty days.
Training and Career Development | We provide reimbursement of
training and career development opportunities for staff who
want to enhance their skills and knowledge base. These
opportunities include computer skills training, specialty
training and any other seminars and training related to an
employee's scope of work.
Onsite Gym | The Firm provides access to a clean and
well-maintained gym in the building with weights, cycles,
treadmills and other fitness equipment, as well as showers and
lockers.
